Booking a teledentistry appointment

Confirmation and Reminders
Once your teledentistry appointment is scheduled, we’ll send you text and email reminders closer to your appointment date. In the event that you don’t confirm your appointment through text or email, our team will reach out to you with a phone call.
What to expect during a virtual consultation
- You’ll have a conversation with one of our experienced dentists, Dr. Martin or Dr. Funk.
- We aim to provide you with valuable information about your dental condition and potential treatment options.
- Based on our discussion, we’ll be able to give you the recommended treatment plan and its associated costs.
- If you are experiencing urgent pain or infection, we can also send prescriptions directly to your pharmacy to provide immediate relief until an in-person procedure can be arranged.
In-Person Procedures
For most cases, an in-person follow-up procedure may be required. During your teledentistry appointment, we’ll schedule any necessary in-person visits. This ensures a smooth transition from virtual consultation to the next steps of your dental care.
When is teledentistry recommended?
Dental Phobia
If you have dental anxiety, our teledentistry service allows you to meet us virtually. We can work together to figure out the most comfortable way for you to visit our office, addressing any concerns you may have.
Treatment presentation for aligner cases and cosmetic consults
If you are considering aligner treatment or cosmetic procedures, we can discuss the options and provide visual presentations during a virtual consultation.
Pre-Op visits for sedation procedures
If you are scheduled for sedation procedures, especially if it’s your first-time visit, we can conduct pre-operative consultations virtually to discuss the procedure and address any questions or concerns you may have.
Post-Op visits for surgical procedures
Following certain surgical procedures, we can arrange virtual post-operative visits to monitor your progress, answer any questions, and ensure optimal healing.
*Basically, any visit that is mostly conversational in nature can be done virtually for convenience
Payment Options
Our payment options for teledentistry appointments are the same as for any other visit.
- EWe’ll bill an examination fee for the virtual consultation.
- EThere’s no need to make a payment in advance.
- EIf there’s a charge associated with your teledentistry appointment, we’ll collect your portion on the day of your in-person visit.
